My job
At LEONI, in my position, due to the dynamic nature of work in production, every day looks different. Nevertheless, there are constant elements that accompany me daily. We commence each day with an analysis of the previous day's production indicators. Together with the team, we discuss problematic production issues of the last 24 hours, set an action plan, and prioritize tasks for the next three production shifts.
Another recurring element is the morning tour of the production area. Alongside our colleagues from the quality and kaizen departments, we visit 2-3 production machines to confirm compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards. The remainder of the day involves project work or direct task-based activities, depending on the day.
The final recurring element is to visit the Change Managers from my team before heading home to ensure that all important topics are clear and well-understood. Often during this time, we find a moment for a casual conversation or to discuss individual topics.
My highlights
LEONI's genuine support in enhancing my skills while performing my duties stems from its dynamic and developmental work environment, which allows me to gain new experience through engaging in interesting projects. I also highly value the daily interaction with team members and colleagues from support departments who, owing to their extensive work experience, possess valuable knowledge and are willing to share it. Their open-minded approach aids in the execution of daily tasks.
Furthermore, thanks to LEONI, I have the opportunity to attend postgraduate management studies in Lean Management at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business.
